Dive Guide to Ternate

Ternate island, a small island in north maluku province- Indonesia. has a unique underwater topograhpy such as volcanic eruptions with spectacular volcanic rocks that teem with marine life, found here in amazing diversity and abundance. the ship wrecks and bus wreck that can be visited also giant gorgonian sea fans grow in lush fields across the underwater slopes and walls.

TERNATE Also known as “The Island of Spices” by Europe in 1322.

an archipelago located Coral Reef Triangle of the equator where the pacific ocean meets. The tropical Indo-Pacific region in which Ternate is collection of Maloko Kie Raha, considered to be on of the world’s richest ecologically biodiverse systems. Ternate is essense a volcanic island with Mount Gamalama, as a great spirit by local people. 

Condition and Seasion 

Visibility at Ternate island depends on weather conditions. usually have a visibility of 20 – 40 meters and depens to between 10 – 25 meters. The beach/shore directly in front of the city is a great place for diving and snorkeling too such as : Taman Nukila, Pantai Falajawa, Toboko, Doro Cina and Dodoku jetty.
Water temperature varies very little and you can expect temperatures of 28 – 30 degrees Celsius the whole year through! - we can diving in Ternate the whole year,

this site located in the mark of Ternate. easy dive site with highlights : macro or critters | visibility : best in the afternoon or low tide | entry : shore or beach entry | topography : flat and slope | max depth : 20 meter | current : medium to strong
